As the Communications Assistant for the UFL Memphis Showboats, I play a key role in ensuring seamless media coverage by managing gameday operations, coordinating press conferences, facilitating interviews, and crafting compelling content that highlights the team’s story.

My background includes working with Women’s Elite Rugby and the Memphis Grizzlies, where I honed my skills in press box management, media outreach, and content creation. I thrive in fast-paced environments, ensuring that players, coaches, and media professionals have everything they need for successful coverage.

Women’s Elite Rugby

As a key contributor to Women's Elite Rugby, I have played a central role in shaping the league’s public presence through public relations, content strategy, and digital branding. My work has helped establish a strong media footprint for this newly formed professional league, ensuring its teams and athletes receive the visibility they deserve.

  • Public Relations & Media Outreach: I have written and distributed multiple press releases covering major league announcements, including the official roster unveilings for all six teams. I have also led media outreach efforts, connecting with journalists across the country—particularly in our team markets (San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Denver, New York, St. Paul/Minneapolis) and within professional sports media outlets such as The Gist, Togethxr, Just Women's Sports, and espnW.

  • Social Media & Branding: I have researched, designed, and published content across the league’s digital platforms, crafting team logo and branding announcements, venue announcements, and live-game posting to highlight scores, tackles and amazing plays in real time. Each post is strategically designed to elevate fan engagement and establish a unique identity for every team.

By combining strategic PR, media relations, and digital storytelling, I have contributed to the foundation of a league that is redefining women’s professional sports.

UFL Memphis Showboats

With the United Football League’s (UFL) Memphis Showboats as a Communications Assistant, my responsibilities center around media relations, press coordination, and real-time game data distribution to support the league’s fast-paced media environment.

  • Media Credentials & Press Coordination: I serve as a key liaison between the team and media, assisting with interview coordination, handling press inquiries, and overseeing the distribution and confirmation of media credentials for journalists, broadcasters, and team personnel.

  • Press Room & Game Operations: I manage part-time gameday staff during home games, ensuring smooth press box operations, media credentialing, and efficient stat distribution. Additionally, I record and transcribe pre-game and post-game press conferences with both home and visiting coaches, as well as select players, providing essential content for media outlets.

  • Live Game Reporting: I oversee the distribution of real-time statistics reports to home and visiting benches, broadcasters, and statisticians, ensuring teams and media professionals receive accurate, up-to-the-minute data throughout the game.

  • Post-Game Review: I assist in the preparation and execution of pre-game notes, post-game notes, player and coach features, and official press materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness for official records.

Memphis Grizzlies + Memphis Hustle

As a Game Night Communications Associate for the Memphis Grizzlies, I play a crucial role in ensuring seamless media operations and information flow during NBA and G-League game nights. My responsibilities center around media relations, press coordination, and real-time game data distribution to support the league’s fast-paced media environment.

  • Media Credentials & Press Coordination: I manage the distribution and confirmation of media credentials, ensuring access for journalists, broadcasters, and team personnel.

  • Press Room & Audio Operations: I record and transcribe pre-game and post-game press conferences with both the home and visiting coaches, as well as select players, providing essential content for media outlets.

  • Live Game Reporting: I distribute real-time statistics reports to home and visiting benches, broadcasters, and statisticians, ensuring that teams, media, and analysts receive accurate, up-to-the-minute data throughout the game.

  • Post-Game Review: I assist in reviewing post-game reports to ensure accuracy and completeness for official records.
